At 7:00 a.m. on August 25, the center of storm No. 5 was located at approximately 18.4 degrees North latitude; 107.2 degrees East longitude. , about 160km east-southeast from the mainland of Nghe An province, 145km east-east from Ha Tinh and 155km east-northeast from Quang Tri .

The wind will gradually increase to level 8-11, near the storm center level 12-14, gusting to level 15-16; especially in the Hue area, the wind will be from the West to the Southwest level 4-5. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
