According to information from the Vietnam Military History Museum, the museum will charge visitors a fee of 40,000 VND/person/visit from April 11. Opening hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

People under 16 years old, 80 years old and above, war invalids, people with revolutionary contributions, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, and Heroes of Labor will be exempted from entrance fees.
People with severe disabilities as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 11 of Decree No. 28; elderly people as prescribed in Article 2 of the Law on the Elderly; students aged 16 and over with cards issued by schools in the nationaleducation system in Vietnam are entitled to a 50% discount on entrance fees.
Previously, the Vietnam Military History Museum opened its doors to welcome and serve visitors free of charge from November 1, 2024 until now.
Vietnam Military History Museum has a construction area of 23,198 m2 , total floor area of the main building is 64,640 m2 , scale of 4 floors above ground and 1 basement.
In front of the building is the 45-meter-high Victory Tower with a multi-layered 5-pointed star shape, symbolizing the year 1945, when the Vietnamese people gained independence.
Currently, the Vietnam Military History Museum is preserving and displaying more than 150,000 artifacts, including 4 national treasures: 2 MIG-21 aircraft (serial numbers 4324, 5121), T54B tank (serial number 843) and the Determination to Fight map in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign.
