Because the vehicle could not reach the overpass in the flood-prone area of Hoa Xuan commune, Dang To Quyen's group and benefactors in Thanh Hoa supported the boat to transport the goods.
In the old Phu Yen , the delegation presented 200 gifts including water, milk, instant noodles, sweet bread, canned fish and 100 million in cash.
The entire amount of money and goods from the relief trip was transferred by the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Cau and Mrs. Phan Thi Oanh to the flood victims in the three provinces of Khanh Hoa , Dak Lak and Gia Lai. The above amount was the entire wedding gift money of Mr. Cau and Mrs. Oanh's son. Through Thanh Nien Newspaper , the entire amount was handed over to the flood victims in the three provinces.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ut Duyen (33 years old, in Moi hamlet, Phu Khe 2 village, Hoa Xuan commune) had her house's back kitchen collapsed. She sadly witnessed the house being damaged after the terrible flood.
"When the flood came, my family didn't have time to move any belongings, we just ran to a neighbor's house on higher ground to avoid the flood. When the flood receded and my husband and I returned, all our belongings and household items were swept away. Life as a farmer is difficult, and now that the flood has passed, it's even more difficult," Ms. Duyen lamented.

More pitiful is the case of Ms. Huynh Dang Trang Thu (31 years old, also in Moi hamlet, Hoa Xuan commune). Ms. Thu and her husband saved up and borrowed money to build a level 4 house with a corrugated iron roof. However, the flood came and washed away the walls.

Emotional charity trips to Hoa Xuan flood center after the terrible flood
Ms. Thu said sadly: "Before, my husband and I lived in a temporary house. We saved a little money so we planned to borrow more to build a level 4 house to stabilize our lives. Not having enough money, my husband and I borrowed more, trying to build a mezzanine to prevent floods. Who would have thought that this year's flood was so high, the strong flow caused the house to collapse."
When the water started to rise, Thu and her husband took their two young children to a neighbor's house. When the water rose, the couple clung to an electric wire and ran to a neighbor's house to avoid the flood.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thanh (47 years old, in Thach Tuan 1 village, Hoa Xuan commune), said he has 3 children, 2 spouses and an 80-year-old mother. At 11 pm on November 21, the house collapsed due to floodwaters flowing over National Highway 1 and swirling into the house. The whole family escaped to their younger brother's house next door.
Receiving support gifts from Thanh Nien Newspaper, Ms. Le Thi Trung (80 years old, Mr. Thanh's mother) was touched: "Thank you everyone for coming to share and help, this year the flood was so big that people could not handle it. This time the flood level was as high as in 1981, but the flood in 1981 flowed gently, but this time the flow was too strong."
