Tien Phong Newspaper works with Lao Cai Department of Information and Communications

(CLO) On October 31, in Lao Cai City, Tien Phong Newspaper leaders worked with the Department of Information and Communications of Lao Cai Province, introduced personnel and proposed to set up the headquarters of Tien Phong Newspaper Representative Office in the Northwest region (Northwest Representative Office).

At the meeting, journalist Le Minh Toan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, gave preliminary information about the newspaper's activities. Recently, Tien Phong Newspaper has changed its editorial model and job positions. Accordingly, Tien Phong Newspaper will set up 6 representative offices in almost all regions and provinces and is strengthening its personnel to carry out the newspaper's functions and tasks.

In the Northwest region, Tien Phong newspaper decided to choose Lao Cai as the location for its representative office. Tien Phong newspaper's deputy editor-in-chief Le Minh Toan also informed about the decisions to establish the office, assign staff in charge, and permanent reporters in Lao Cai.

“Tien Phong Newspaper will carry out the procedures for establishing a representative office in accordance with the Press Law and regulations of the Ministry of Information and Communications . Accordingly, Tien Phong Newspaper will assign journalist Nguyen Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary General of the Tien Phong Newspaper's print editorial office, to be in charge of the Tien Phong Newspaper Representative Office in the Northwest region. Journalist Nguyen Van Han will be assigned as a resident reporter in Lao Cai province and Tien Phong Newspaper will soon assign resident reporters to provinces in the region. Tien Phong Newspaper requests the Lao Cai Department of Information and Communications to support and create favorable conditions for the Northwest Representative Office to soon come into operation, promoting the effectiveness of information and propaganda in the area,” said journalist Le Minh Toan.

According to journalist Le Minh Toan, Lao Cai province is a developing, dynamic province, with an important position in the Northwest region. Tien Phong newspaper representative office will coordinate and support information for Lao Cai province in all aspects, contributing to promoting the economic and social life of the province as well as the Northwest region.
