Start dredging Bau Sen lake

On March 29, Vietnam Science and Technology Joint Stock Company (BUSADCO) held a groundbreaking ceremony for Package No. 2 - Bau Sen Lake dredging and renovation project (Thang Tam ward, Vung Tau city).

The project is invested by the Management Board of Construction Investment and Land Fund Development Project of Vung Tau City and implemented from the budget of Vung Tau City. This is also the first package of the Bau Sen Lake dredging and renovation project to be started. BUSADCO is the contractor.

Accordingly, package 2 dredges the entire lake bed with an area of ​​about 15.89 hectares within 3 months with a total estimated volume of dredged mud of about 96,124.91m ³ . Package 2 has a total investment of more than 12.3 billion VND.

To prepare for dredging the lake, the construction unit must prepare 3 staging areas which are vacant land areas; clean the ground, remove grass and rubbish, build surrounding embankments; dig for construction, install water recovery systems to return the pond. Then proceed to dredge mud, treat biological products in the lake bed and mud before...

The project aims to contribute to urban beautification and improve the quality of life of the people. In particular, Bau Sen Lake continues to function as a regulating lake, contributing to preventing local flooding in the city.

It is known that the Bau Sen Lake dredging and renovation project is carried out on an area of ​​about 18.32 hectares of water surface and 32 hectares of land area.

The project is aimed at creating a green - clean - beautiful public park space with playgrounds, landscaped walkways, squares, etc. to serve the entertainment and community connection needs of the people of Vung Tau City. The project also aims to contribute to urban beautification and improve the quality of life of the people. In particular, Bau Sen Lake continues to function as a regulating lake, contributing to preventing local flooding in the city.
