Nearly 390 kg of illegal fireworks seized in project LS525

- At 3:40 a.m. on May 31, 2025, at Village 1, Dao Vien Commune, Trang Dinh District, the authorities successfully busted a case of illegal transportation of nearly 390 kg of firecrackers from China to Vietnam.

The incident is part of the LS525 project established by the Border Guard Command of Lang Son province on May 6, 2025 to combat firecracker trafficking and transportation rings in the border area.

Provincial Border Guard forces arrested a subject transporting explosive fireworks.

According to initial information provided by the authorities, the Drug and Crime Prevention Department of the Provincial Border Guard Command presided over and coordinated with Binh Nghi Border Guard Station and Dao Vien Commune Police (Trang Dinh District) while performing their duties to detect and arrest a case of illegal transportation of nearly 390 kg of firecrackers from China to Vietnam and 7 motorbikes and many related subjects.

Currently, the authorities are actively coordinating to investigate and clarify the criminal acts of the subjects to handle them according to the provisions of the law.
