Caught red-handed using electric shock to catch fish

Evidence of illegal fishing.

The patrol force invited PVĐ to work and temporarily detained 1 electric shocker, 1 plastic net, 1 battery, and 3kg of various fish.

Previously, on May 25, U Minh Thuong District Police issued a decision to administratively fine NQC (40 years old), residing in Xeo Lung Hamlet, Thanh Yen A Commune, U Minh Thuong District, 4 million VND for illegally using electric shock to catch aquatic products, and confiscated evidence including batteries, electric shock, and over 6 kg of shrimp and fish of various types.

According to U Minh Thuong District Police, recently, the police force has caught many cases of people using electric shock to catch aquatic products. This is an illegal act, which can endanger the lives of the users and destroy aquatic species.
