General Secretary To Lam suggested that the two sides promote substantive cooperation, especially railway connection, actively expand new fields, and turn science and technology cooperation and digital transformation into new bright spots and new growth drivers of Vietnam-China relations. In particular, he suggested that China actively support Vietnam in training human resources in science and technology.
The General Secretary hoped that both sides would promote healthy and stable trade development, and that China would further expand its imports of agricultural, aquatic and other goods from Vietnam. He also suggested that both sides better control and resolve maritime issues, creating a favorable environment for the development of each country and bilateral relations.
