Hundreds of needy people in Thanh Ha received support during Humanitarian Month

Thanh Ha District Party Secretary gives gifts to encourage people in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Humanitarian Month

On the afternoon of May 9, Thanh Ha district organized a gift giving program for families in difficult circumstances and disabled children on the occasion of Humanitarian Month.

At the program, the Hai Duong Red Cross Society presented 30 bicycles to disadvantaged students and provided emergency grants to 5 particularly disadvantaged cases. The provincial Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans presented 20 wheelchairs.

Representative of Makalot Vietnam Garment Company Limited received a certificate of merit for many contributions to humanitarian work.

Thanh Ha District People's Committee awarded 240 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each; Makalot Vietnam Garment Company Limited awarded 100 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to families in difficult circumstances in Thanh Ha District.

On this occasion, Thanh Ha District People's Committee awarded 7 groups and 10 individuals for their contributions to the humanitarian movement in the area.
