A 2-year-old girl suffered a "private part" injury suspected to have occurred at a daycare center.

On the morning of May 14, Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Ngoc Tuyen, Chief of Mui Ne Ward Police, Phan Thiet City ( Binh Thuan Province) confirmed that the unit had received a report from the people regarding a girl over 2 years old who suffered injuries in many places on her body after being sent to a daycare center in the area.

Currently, Mui Ne Ward Police are urgently coordinating with relevant units to clarify the incident.

According to initial information, on May 12, due to being busy with work, Ms. LTL (born in 1996, residing in Mui Ne ward) sent her daughter named NLHA (born in November 2022) to a daycare center owned by a person named B. (Nguyen Cong Hoan street, ward 1, Mui Ne ward).

In the afternoon of the same day, after picking up her child, Ms. L. bathed child A. and discovered many bruises on the child's body on the back, arms, forehead, etc. Notably, the child's genitals were severely bruised and had many scratches.

Immediately afterwards, Ms. L. called the owner of the daycare facility to ask for the reason, but did not receive a satisfactory answer. The owner of the facility said that child A. had fallen.

Ms. L. reported the incident to the Mui Ne Ward Police, Phan Thiet City.

Suspecting that her daughter was being abused, around 9:00 p.m. on May 13, Ms. L. took A. to Mui Ne Ward Police to report the incident.

After working with the authorities, on the night of May 13, with the help of local people, Ms. L. took A. to Binh Thuan General Hospital for examination.

At the hospital, the doctor diagnosed A. with "Contusion of external genitalia" and "Injury to the chest".

According to our research, Ms. B's daycare facility takes care of about 10 children, has no signboard, and is located on Nguyen Cong Hoan Street (Mui Ne Ward).

A representative of the Department of Education and Training of Binh Thuan province also said that on May 14, the unit directed relevant units to inspect this childcare facility; at the same time, coordinate with the authorities to clarify the incident. Locals said that the family of Ms. LTL (born in 1996, residing in Long Son quarter, Mui Ne ward) is in very difficult circumstances. Ms. L. currently has 3 children, all of whom are still young. Ms. L.'s husband is currently serving a prison sentence. Ms. L. is currently working as a janitor for a motel, earning 5 million VND per month, not enough to take care of her young children. In addition, due to not having a stable home, Ms. L. and her 3 children are having to stay at a relative's house.
