On the local side, comrade Nguyen Van Quyet, Secretary of Long An Provincial Party Committee and comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council received the delegation.

Speaking at the working session, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac praised and highly appreciated the Standing Committees of Long An and Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committees for their serious and responsible leadership, direction and implementation of the Resolution of the 11th Central Conference. Thereby, the Project on rearranging and reorganizing commune-level administrative units, building a 2-level local government model, the Project on merging provincial Party Committees and merging provincial-level administrative units has been completed;...

In addition, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac requested the Standing Committees of the two provinces to continue to do well in political and ideological work, strengthen information and propaganda, promptly orient public opinion, create high consensus among cadres, party members and people; focus on inspecting, investigating, and thoroughly handling corruption, waste and negativity cases related to personnel of party congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress;...

In addition, the Standing Committees of the two provinces directed the good organization of Party congresses at all levels to ensure progress and requirements according to Directive 45 of the Politburo; at the same time, focused on leading and directing the socio-economic development tasks, ensuring the correct implementation of the set growth targets.

According to the Project on the arrangement of Long An and Tay Ninh provinces, the newly formed province after the arrangement has a natural area of ​​over 8,500 ^km2 , with over 3.2 million people and 96 commune-level administrative units. It is expected that the new provincial Party Committee will establish 5 advisory and support agencies and 2 public service units; the provincial People's Committee will establish 14 specialized agencies, 2 other affiliated organizations and 11 public service units, ensuring that the new province will operate from September 1, 2025.

The two provinces have coordinated to establish a specialized working group to develop and edit documents for the new Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; basically agreeing to propose 16 socio-economic targets, 5 projects using public investment capital and 3 breakthrough programs.
