The first case is a boy named NNBU (7 years old, residing in Long Binh ward, Ho Chi Minh City). According to the medical history, on the morning of September 23, the boy ate bread at R. bakery, and in the afternoon, he ate pre-cut dragon fruit at the supermarket.
At around 8pm the same day, the child had a high fever, vomited 5-6 times, had abdominal pain around the navel, had 2-3 yellow diarrheas, felt lethargic and tired. The patient was diagnosed with a bacterial intestinal infection, received intensive treatment and was discharged on the afternoon of September 26.

The second case is NNBA (4 years old, younger brother of U.), who also has the same eating history and symptoms as his brother. He was also diagnosed with a bacterial intestinal infection and was discharged from the hospital on the afternoon of September 26 after 2 days of care.
The third case is a girl named THP (13 years old). Medical history shows that at around 8:00 p.m. on September 23 - after eating bread at R. bakery (located on Nguyen Van Tang street) - the child developed fever, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, lethargy, and fatigue.
The child was admitted to the hospital on September 26 and is being cared for, with a diagnosis of bacterial intestinal infection.
Le Van Viet Hospital said that the above patients showed symptoms of suspected food poisoning after eating street food (bread), with common clinical symptoms being fever, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. The suspected agent causing food poisoning is microorganism.
As Dan Tri reported, on September 26, many residents living in an apartment building on Nguyen Xien Street, Long Binh Ward reported suspected food poisoning after eating bread sold at an establishment named R..
"When I went to the hospital, the doctor said that many people were hospitalized in the same condition as my wife and children. I suspected that the cause was from eating bread at the above mentioned shop. After the incident, I reported it to the local authorities," said Mr. Tran Dang Anh Tuan (born 1998, residing in Long Binh ward).
After receiving the information, the authorities are taking measures to investigate and clarify the incident.
