Tam Diep Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital - formerly Tam Diep Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Center, established on October 20, 1975, under the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs with the function of installing orthopedic devices and providing rehabilitation treatment for war invalids and disabled people. In 2000, the Center was transferred to the locality, under the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Ninh Binh province, maintaining the same functions, tasks, and organizational structure. In 2014, the Center was upgraded to Tam Diep Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital according to Decision 932/UBND of the province dated November 25, 2014 with the function and task of treating orthopedic injuries for policy beneficiaries and people in the province and neighboring provinces. In 2019, the Hospital switched to operating autonomously in regular expenditures according to Decision 664/QD-UBND dated June 6, 2019. After 4 years of autonomy, the hospital has affirmed that autonomy is correct, autonomy has the opportunity to develop.

Currently, according to the decision, the hospital has 50 beds, 90 beds in reality. The hospital has implemented electronic medical records, collecting cashless hospital fees. In 2022, 14,200 patients were examined and treated (in 2018: 7,500). Surgery: 2945 cases (in 2018: 1345 cases). Orthopedic devices: 70 cases (in 2018: 70 cases). The hospital's growth rate since autonomy has increased by 15% annually. During the process of safe and effective medical examination and treatment, patients trust and appreciate it.
