Accordingly, on May 29 and 30, candidates completed three exams: Math, English, and Literature. In particular, 2,363 candidates registered for specialized classes at Luong The Vinh High School for the Gifted took an additional exam in the corresponding specialized subject, with a test time of 150 minutes on the afternoon of May 30.
Evaluating the exam questions for three subjects: Math, English and Literature, teachers from several secondary schools said that the exam questions were consistent with the new 2018 GeneralEducation Program, and closely followed the sample exam questions issued by the Department of Education and Training.
The exam also ensures the requirements for the entrance exam, which is to differentiate the candidates' academic ability according to the levels of average, good, excellent, helping the admission process to ensure objectivity and fairness.

According to the Department of Education and Training, after the exams, 20,561/21,489 candidates are eligible to apply to 20 public schools that organize exams, because they have taken all three exams in Math, English and Literature. The number of candidates who were absent from 1 to 3 exams is 928 candidates, and will no longer have the opportunity to apply to public schools that organize exams.
During the two days of the exam, no candidates, officers or teachers participating in the exam violated the exam regulations. The provincial police directed the police of the wards and communes where the exam took place to coordinate well to ensure security and order, contributing to the successful organization of the exam.

Immediately after completing the final exam, the exam clusters organized the handover of candidates’ exam papers to the centralized exam marking location arranged by the Department of Education and Training in Bien Hoa City. The Department will also immediately implement the exam marking work as planned from May 31 to June 13.
After the exam results are available and the exam score data is closely reviewed, it is expected that on June 14, the Department of Education and Training will meet with the principals of high schools that organize entrance exams to determine the benchmark scores and immediately announce them to candidates and parents.
