Son Tay: Many useful activities for children in summer 2025

On May 30, at Son Tay Children's House, the town's Summer Activities Steering Committee organized the opening program of summer activities and gifted classes of the Children's House to respond to the Month of Action for Children in 2025 and give gifts on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1.

Responding to the "Month of Action for Children" in 2025 with the theme "Prioritizing resources, completing goals for children", the 2025 summer activities in Son Tay town bring a joyful and rewarding third semester with various forms of culture, arts, physical education, sports , gifted classes, and clubs of the town's children's house.

Organizing the handover and reception of children participating in summer activities between schools and localities in the town at the end of the 2024-2025 school year helps establish a close relationship between family - school - society in managing and supervising students during the summer vacation to ensure safety and effectiveness. Thereby, raising people's awareness of the responsibility to protect children, speak up and report risks and violations to authorities, contributing to limiting the situation of children being subjected to violence, abuse, accidents, injuries, and early labor. Son Tay also mobilizes all resources, raising the responsibility of the whole society for the work of protecting, caring for, andeducating children. The town's summer activity steering committee requires 100% of facilities to organize summer activities for children in accordance with the actual conditions of the locality and unit.

During the summer of 2025, the Son Tay Town Culture - Information and Sports Center will open classes on artistic talent, experience and life skills training for children, puberty skills, and beautiful handwriting. The sports talent classes include: Chess, Karate, Vovinam, badminton, general swimming class, intensive swimming, and soccer.

The center also constantly innovates appropriate and effective training programs; builds a team of enthusiastic, dedicated, highly qualified teachers and collaborators; focuses on investing in facilities, spacious and clean classrooms, equipment and learning tools to ensure the requirements of each subject. Thereby, helping children to exchange, learn, develop talents, practice physical training, creating joy for them to confidently enter the new school year.

On this occasion, the town's summer activities steering committee presented 65 gifts to disadvantaged children in the area.
