Military Hospital 175 and Military Medical Academy cooperate to develop doctors

Assessing the cooperation between the two units, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Kien, Director of the Military Medical Academy, said that the cooperation between the two units in scientific research and human resource training and development not only creates conditions for mutual support but also improves the quality of medical examination, treatment, and health care for soldiers and people. Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Kien also highly appreciated the outstanding efforts, rapid professional development, and modern facilities of Military Hospital 175 in recent times as a good foundation for effective, in-depth, focused, and key cooperation between the two units.

The cooperation program between Military Hospital 175 and the Military Medical Academy will focus on cooperation in building and developing a team of doctors, improving the quality of training, scientific research, and developing technical expertise in medical examination and treatment. Specifically, the two units will coordinate to carry out procedures to request recognition of Military Hospital 175 as a practice facility of the Military Medical Academy, create conditions for recognizing officers and doctors of each side as guest lecturers of the academy and hospital (if qualified), coordinate to organize training, transfer techniques, continuous training... for officers and employees of both sides as required. In addition, confirm training results (number of teaching hours, guidance of graduate students, doctoral students...) to consider proposals for appointment of titles and academic ranks.

Regarding scientific research, the two units coordinate to develop and propose research directions, creating conditions for cadres, doctors, and scientists of both sides to participate as members of research groups of topics and projects at all levels chaired by the Military Medical Academy or Military Hospital 175. In particular, in developing technical expertise, the two units coordinate to participate in consultations, treat severe, complicated, rare cases, and participate in supporting the implementation of new techniques, specialized techniques, and specialties that are the strengths of the two units. Along with that, the two units exchange knowledge and experience in hospital quality management, infection control, pharmaceutical work, equipment, information technology, etc., and experience in implementing and developing models of medical examination and treatment on demand.
