Tu Du Hospital puts into use modern MRI system

According to Dr. Tran Ngoc Hai, Director of Tu Du Hospital, the hospital's MRI 3.0 Center has an area of ^500m2 with modern equipment, serving the earliest and most accurate diagnosis of diseases right from the fetus and ensuring the best quality of fetuses at birth, contributing to improving the quality of the population, the fetal stage and the early stages of life.

The center is equipped with a 3.0 Tesla MRI system with advanced AI technology to help doctors accurately and quickly diagnose many complex diseases, thereby providing effective and timely treatment regimens. The center contributes to improving the ability to detect early dangerous diseases such as cancer, stroke, neurological, vascular, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal problems, etc.

The Resuscitation Center has an area of 800 ^m2 , with 70 beds to ensure timely emergency care, and the Emergency Reception Department has an area of 350 ^m2, is equipped with modern and convenient facilities, ensuring the reception of patients.

"The projects are invested and built with the hospital's career development fund, and are practical works serving the treatment, care and protection of the people in the spirit of Resolution 72 of the Politburo "On a number of breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care and improvement of people's health", said Dr. Tran Ngoc Hai.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Huynh Thanh Dat, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, emphasized: protecting, caring for and improving people's health has always been of special concern to the Party and State. The fact that Tu Du Hospital officially put into operation the MRI 3.0 Center and the Emergency Resuscitation - Intensive Care Area is not only an important milestone for the hospital but also a big step forward in improving the quality of health care for people, which is great news for the health sector of Ho Chi Minh City.

According to comrade Huynh Thanh Dat, modern facilities and equipment are necessary conditions, but the human factor is the real factor that determines success. Therefore, the team of doctors, nurses and technicians of Tu Du Hospital need to quickly master and effectively exploit the 3.0 Tesla MRI system and new equipment in the Emergency Resuscitation and Resuscitation Area; constantly study and improve their expertise to improve the quality of diagnosis, treatment and patient care.

"Tu Du Hospital needs to continue to promote and maintain its position as a specialized center for obstetrics and gynecology and neonatology in the country, actively contributing to the cause of protecting and caring for people's health," Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat expected.

* On the same day, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission coordinated with Tu Du Hospital to organize a seminar to implement Resolution 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo "On a number of breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care and improvement of people's health".

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Huy Ngoc, Head of Local Department 3 (Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission) and Doctor-CK2 Tran Ngoc Hai, Director of Tu Du Hospital chaired the discussion.

The seminar attracted 26 reports from general and specialized hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City, mentioning the advantages, difficulties and solutions in implementing Resolution 72 of the Politburo.
