It is expected that each day, the kitchen will provide more than 20,000 meals, ensuring nutrition and food safety. The meals are distributed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province to people in areas severely affected by the recent floods.
As the tap water system in some areas has not been repaired, the Provincial Military Command and Khanh Hoa Provincial Police have mobilized 3 water trucks to serve the cooking. In addition to the kitchen located at Nha Trang University, the Social Charity Board of the Ho Chi Minh City Buddhist Sangha has also deployed 2 more field kitchens in Dien Dien commune and 1 kitchen in the old Phu Yen province. The kitchens will be maintained until people's lives stabilize again.

At Nha Trang University, the kitchen is operated day and night, mobilizing hundreds of volunteers including youth volunteers, students, local people, monks, nuns, and Buddhists from Ho Chi Minh City and Khanh Hoa province. From the evening of November 22, many convoys from Ho Chi Minh City urgently transported dozens of tons of food, foodstuffs, and drinking water to Khanh Hoa, ready for cooking and distributing meals.
