The mystery of the 'ghost people' in West Africa, whose descendants still exist today

Scientists have discovered the existence of a mysterious human race, known as " ghost humans ," through DNA , but have yet to find remains or physical evidence of them.

This ghostly human species may have met and interbred with Homo sapiens in West Africa about 124,000 years ago.

In 2018, the remains of a 50,000-year-old female were discovered in Siberia, initially thought to be the offspring of Neanderthals and Denisovans. However, later research suggested that she may have been a representative of a mysterious, yet-to-be-identified human species.

Neanderthals and Denisovans are two ancient human species, closely related to each other.

Neanderthals lived in Europe, Southwest Asia, Uzbekistan and the Altay Mountains, from the Middle Pleistocene to the Late Pleistocene, that is, from 0.43 million to 0.04 million years ago.

They had strong skeletons, central rib cages, and depended on hunting and gathering food.

Neanderthals became extinct about 30,000 years ago. The cause of extinction is still debated, but may have been related to small population sizes, inbreeding, and random fluctuations.

The Denisovans lived in Asia and may have passed on genetic elements to modern humans. Their blood entered the Homo sapiens community through intermarriage.
