Provincial Party Secretary works with Phu Gia Biotechnology Company

Comrade Pham Gia Tuc, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, had a working session with the delegation of Phu Gia Biotechnology Company (Taiwan, China) on the proposal to invest in a high-tech agricultural production project associated with eco-tourism in Nam Truc district. The delegation included Mr. Truong Hong Duong, General Director of Phu Gia Biotechnology Company; representative of the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam; Mr. Tran Duy Hai, General Secretary of the Taiwan Working Committee - Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry. Attending the working session was comrade Tran Anh Dung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, General Director Truong Hong Duong shared: Phu Gia Biotechnology Company is the first enterprise to invest in high-tech agricultural production projects in Thai Nguyen province many years ago. The General Director of Phu Gia Biotechnology Company proposed to invest in developing a high-tech agricultural project with a scale of using about 10 hectares of land in Nam Truc district. In the first phase, the Company will invest about 20 million USD to organize the production, cultivation and processing of organic mushrooms and aquatic vegetables that meet export standards to international markets and consumption in Vietnam; at the same time, combine production with the development of eco -tourism services to experience high-tech agriculture. The Company plans to employ about 500 workers, after 6 months of being allocated land, it will complete investment, production and have output products. The Company aims to develop and turn the investment project in Nam Dinh into a model of high-tech agricultural production in the whole of Northern Vietnam.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Pham Gia Tuc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee welcomed Phu Gia Biotechnology Company's investment needs in the province; at the same time, he assessed that the high-tech agricultural production project associated with eco-tourism of the Company is very suitable for the agricultural development trend of Vietnam as well as other countries in the world . According to the Nam Dinh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister, Nam Dinh will promote investment attraction in agriculture, rural areas and promote the development of high-tech agriculture, associated with the exploitation of eco-tourism.

The Provincial Party Secretary also affirmed that the province will direct the authorities at all levels and functional sectors to support, create the most favorable conditions, and quickly resolve administrative procedures within the framework of legal regulations so that the Company can effectively invest in the project. Particularly for high-tech agricultural projects, the province's functional sectors will facilitate investors to enjoy maximum preferential mechanisms and policies according to Vietnam's regulations. On the side of Phu Gia Biotechnology Company, it is necessary to have a written proposal to the Provincial People's Committee to invest in the project; send a representative to work directly, receive guidance and support from the province to speed up the investment progress and ensure full and strict compliance with current regulations of Vietnamese law related to high-tech investment, environmental protection, and ecology in agricultural production. The Provincial Party Secretary also sincerely thanked the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and the Taiwan Affairs Committee of VCCI for actively supporting Nam Dinh province in promoting and attracting investment; hoping to continue to receive companionship and introduce many potential Taiwanese and Chinese investors using high technology to invest in production and business in Nam Dinh.
