On the morning of January 11, Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel work.

At the conference, the Politburo's decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, holding the position of Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, was announced.

On behalf of the Politburo, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision to Mr. Dang Xuan Phong.

Mr. Dang Xuan Phong was born in 1972, from Tien Lu commune, Lap Thach district, Vinh Phuc province; professional qualification: Doctor of Economics.

Before becoming Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Dang Xuan Phong held many positions in Lao Cai provincial agencies such as Deputy Director, Director of Lao Cai Provincial Department of Planning and Investment; Vice Chairman of Lao Cai City People's Committee; Secretary of Bac Ha District Party Committee; Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee; Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee.

At the 16th Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, he was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee.
