According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm No. 15 has entered the East Sea. At 4:00 a.m. on November 26, the center of the storm was at about 12.2 degrees North latitude; 119.1 degrees East longitude, about 540km east of Song Tu Tay Island. The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 8 (62-74km/h), gusting to level 10. Moving northwest at a speed of 20-25km/h.
At 4:00 a.m. on November 27, the storm's eye was in the middle of the East Sea, about 200km northeast of Song Tu Tay Island, with a level 10 intensity, gusting to level 13, and likely to strengthen.
The central East Sea area (including the sea area north of Truong Sa special zone) will be affected by the storm with strong winds of level 6-7; the area near the storm's eye will have strong winds of level 8-10, gusting to level 13; waves 4.0-6.0m high, the area near the storm's eye will have waves of 6.0-8.0m; the sea is very rough. The natural disaster risk level is at Level 3.
Vessels operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are susceptible to the impact of storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
