The leaders of the Defense Zone 2 Command - Dong Gia Nghia praised Mr. Giang's spirit and responsibility when using a drone to support the authorities in successfully rescuing people.

The Command of Defense Area 2 - Dong Gia Nghia also recorded the opinions of the locality and the vehicle owner to report to the competent authorities to have a plan to support Mr. Giang because the aircraft was swept away by floodwaters while participating in the rescue.

Previously, Lam Dong Electronic Newspaper reported that Mr. NVH (residing in Ea Tling village 7, Cu Jut commune) was stuck on an island (on the Serepok river) for about 2 days.

Due to the strong and swift river currents, rescue by conventional means was not feasible. The local authorities contacted Mr. Pham Truong Giang to assist in the rescue by drone.

According to research, Giang's family bought the drone about a year ago, for about 400 million VND to serve the family's production. The device can lift people and objects weighing up to 100kg.

During the rescue, when Mr. NVH was brought close to shore, the aircraft swayed and lost balance, causing both the person and the vehicle to fall into the water. At this time, the authorities arrived in time and brought Mr. H. safely to shore. The aircraft was swept away by floodwaters.
