Vote for typical literary and artistic works of Ho Chi Minh City

On the afternoon of April 9, according to the results of the city-level voting council and consulting more than 55,000 opinions of the people through the electronic information page and the consensus of the councils, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City proposed 58 works in all fields of culture and arts. Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association: 6 works, Photography Association: 6 works; Literature Association: 6 works; Architecture Association: 6 works; Literature and Arts Association of Ethnic Minorities: 6 works; Dance Artists Association: 5 works; Cinema Association: 7 works; Music Association: 8 works; Theater Association: 8 works.

The vote aims to honor and commend outstanding and valuable works of literature and art, which have effectively contributed to the development of literature and art in the 50-year journey of construction and development of Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the organizers, the announcement and award ceremony will be held at the City Theater (HCMC) in April. The winning works all have content praising the glorious and heroic fighting tradition; the construction and development of HCMC; praising the life and people of the civilized, modern, and affectionate city.
