
The delegation visited the families of 11 heroic Vietnamese mothers that the unit was taking care of. The delegation presented 3 gifts to mother Nguyen Thi Luu (born in 1923, former Binh Duong commune), mother Nguyen Thi Day (born in 1927, former Binh Giang commune), now Thang An commune, and mother Phan Thi Den (born in 1930, former Ha Lam town), now Thang Binh commune. Of which, the Armored Corps presented 3 gifts (1.5 million VND/gift), and Brigade 201 presented support money and gifts (7 million VND/mother).
On this occasion, the delegation came to offer incense and visit the families of 8 deceased Vietnamese Heroic Mothers who were being cared for by the unit.

Colonel Nguyen Thien Thanh - Deputy Political Commissar of the Armored Corps said that the unit's gratitude activities towards the heroic mothers of Thang Binh district (old) have been carried out since 1997, coinciding with the separation of Quang Nam and Da Nang provinces. Many meaningful activities have been carried out over the years such as taking care of living mothers, visiting and giving gifts during holidays, supporting the construction of gratitude houses, etc.
“The gratitude activity taking place on the occasion of the merger of Quang Nam and Da Nang after 28 years of separation is even more meaningful. In the new administrative area of Thang An and Thang Binh communes (Da Nang city), the unit continues to care for the Heroic Mothers of Vietnam until the end of their lives, as a deep gratitude for the great sacrifices of previous generations of fathers and brothers, Heroic Mothers of Vietnam for the peace , independence and freedom of the Fatherland” - Colonel Nguyen Thien Thanh said.
