15th Corps opens 2025 campaign training course

(GLO)- On the morning of May 27, Army Corps 15 opened the 2025 campaign training course with the participation of 170 officers and leaders of agencies and units throughout the Army Corps.

During the 5-day period (from May 27 to 31), 170 officers and leaders of agencies and units in the entire Corps will be imparted knowledge by the head of Corps 15 on: The plot and strategic tricks of "Peaceful evolution, riotous overthrow of hostile forces against the Vietnamese revolution"; the world and regional situation; coordination in building and operating defense zones; Party work and political work of Corps 15 in performing combat readiness tasks; the specificity in changing the combat readiness status of Corps 15 according to Directive No. 14/CL-BQP dated March 28, 2017 of the Ministry of National Defense on combat readiness for the people's army and militia; changing the production and business tasks of the Corps from peacetime to wartime; instructions on implementing the combat readiness command; Basic content order of logistics and technical work in combat readiness states; organization and preparation for combat of Army Corps 15; instructions for drafting plans and orders to ensure logistics and technical support.

Also during the 2025 campaign training, officers who are leaders and commanders of agencies and units in the entire 15th Army Corps will visit the 78th Defense Economic Group to practice changing to combat readiness.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2025 campaign training course, Major General Hoang Van Sy, Commander of the 15th Corps, emphasized: The Corps is an economic defense unit, performing tasks in strategic areas, undertaking strategic defense tasks with economics associated with defense, building a strong political base in assigned areas, which cannot be separated. In addition to the task of combat readiness and combat, it is also necessary to do a good job of coordinating combat operations and serving combat, so the Corps' combat staff work must be proactive, creative, accurate, urgent, and timely to ensure that the unit completes all assigned tasks well.

To perform combat operations well, commanders at all levels must have a firm grasp of relevant work contents and update new contents of the Ministry of National Defense, organize the correct implementation of orders and instructions for performing combat staff tasks at all levels and assigned tasks.

Major General Hoang Van Sy - Commander of the 15th Corps suggested: “To successfully complete the content and training plan, the training class organizers need to thoroughly grasp and foster basic knowledge of military, political, logistical, and technical knowledge for the commanding officers of the Corps, companies, and units, so that they can apply it to practice and work. Gradually improve tactical and campaign thinking, flexibly apply it to the practical activities of the unit and the area where the unit is located. Each officer participating in the training needs to concentrate highly on studying, grasp the content and organize the training methods. Organize and practice training closely, in the right order and principles, ensuring safety in all aspects. The instructors maintain the regular regimes in the training class, so that the officers can carry out the training in a disciplined manner. At the end of the training program, conduct training to change to combat readiness to evaluate the learning results. Only then will the instruction "Directing and inspecting agencies and units under his authority will later achieve practical results."
