Krong Ana District: Established 67 models to solve social issues related to women

Since the beginning of the year, the District Women's Union has organized many activities, effectively implementing the Union's key tasks. Movement activities have been held regularly and extensively with diverse forms and contents, having an impact on political education, traditions, and ideology, contributing to raising awareness and spiritual life for female members and women.

The Association at all levels continues to do a good job of entrusting with the Social Policy Bank and managing loan sources, helping women expand production capital, develop the economy , and increase income. In the first 6 months of 2025, the Association has developed 91 new members; discovered 13 typical advanced examples in various fields; and admitted 2 honorary members to the Association.

Continuing to implement Project 938 "Propaganda,education , mobilization, and support for women to participate in solving a number of social issues related to women", from 2022 to present, all levels of the association have organized propaganda, provided knowledge and skills to prevent gender-based violence and domestic violence for over 41,600 officials, women's union members, students and people; newly established 14 models of mobilization and support for women to proactively solve social issues related to women, bringing the total number of models in the district to 67 with over 2,500 members participating.

Responding to the "Godmother" Program to support, care for and nurture orphans launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Provincial Women's Union, women's unions at all levels in the district have received and connected to sponsor 41 children (including 9 children who have lost both parents, 32 children who have lost either father or mother). From 2021 to present, the units have provided financial support and presented gifts with a total value of more than 1.2 billion VND.

On this occasion, the District Women's Union gave 41 gifts (VND 430,000/gift) to 41 orphaned and disadvantaged children in the district who were sponsored by the Women's Union at all levels.
