'Thu Ha' soldiers gather to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day

BDK.VN - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Liaison Committee of Unit C710 (Thu Ha Troops) recently held a meeting to review the unit's traditions. Attending were comrade Pham Thanh Danh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association, representatives of the Liaison Committee of the Local Troops of Binh Dai district, and 60 women of Unit C710.

Unit c710 - Thu Ha Army was established during the resistance war against the US (1-1964) as the only concentrated female armed unit of the province, with an initial strength of 46 female soldiers, gradually growing to hundreds of soldiers and becoming an independent female armed combat unit. Although the direct combat time was only about ten years, the women fought bravely, steadfastly and coordinated with the armed units of the province to win many important victories, contributing greatly to the cause of liberating the homeland and unifying the country.

The meeting took place in a joyful, excited, warm and affectionate atmosphere, which was a great source of encouragement, helping the teachers live happily and healthily, and be a shining example for their children and grandchildren to learn and follow.
