Ministry of Science and Technology deploys plan to review legal documents in 2025

In order to improve the quality of the legal system and ensure consistency and transparency in the field of science and technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) has issued a Plan to review legal documents in the field of state management in 2025.

The plan is issued together with Decision No. 445/QD-BKHCN dated April 5, 2025 of the Minister of Science and Technology .

According to the Plan, the Ministry of Science and Technology will review, update and systematize all legal documents in the field of science and technology by December 31, 2025. At the same time, units under the Ministry will be trained in professional skills to improve their capacity to review and propose adjustments to documents in accordance with reality.

The review of legal documents in 2025 will focus on detecting and handling contradictory, overlapping, inappropriate or no longer practical regulations, ensuring that legal policies effectively support the development of science and technology. The Legal Department is the unit in charge of organizing training, synthesizing documents, and coordinating with related units to implement the plan synchronously and effectively.

The funding for implementing the plan to review legal documents in 2025 will be guaranteed from the state budget and other legal sources, in compliance with regulations on the use of funds according to Circular No. 09/2023/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance./ .
