Speaking at the opening of the training session, Mr. Cu Kim Long, Deputy Director of the Information Technology Center, emphasized the key role of standardizing, digitizing and synchronizing administrative procedures in the context that the Ministry of Science and Technology is implementing key tasks in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation and Resolution No. 71/NQ-CP dated April 1, 2025 of the Government on amending and supplementing the Government's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.
According to Mr. Cu Kim Long, the unified implementation of the information system for handling administrative procedures not only contributes to improving the efficiency of internal work processing, but also enhances transparency, publicity, and serves people and businesses quickly and conveniently. The new system contributes to meeting the requirements of digitalization, performing administrative procedures regardless of administrative boundaries, connecting, sharing, and synchronizing data with the National Public Service Portal, which is the only centralized "one-stop shop" of the country and is ready to be deployed according to the roadmap of not maintaining the Ministry-level Public Service Portal.
Notably, the new system is ready to integrate the SSO VNeID service and online payment system, allowing businesses and people to track the progress of document processing, minimizing delays and facilitating leaders at all levels in monitoring, evaluating, and directing operations.
Overview of the training session.
Currently, the Ministry of Science and Technology is providing 475 online public services, including 279 full-scale public services, implemented by 20 units. This is the result of a synchronous and drastic implementation process, with the responsible participation of relevant units and individuals. The information system for handling administrative procedures is expected to continue to be an important technical platform, supporting the effective operation of all the above-mentioned public services.
At the training session, Mr. Trinh Van Hung, an expert from the IT Center, guided the use of the new system and answered practical questions and supported specialized staff in operating the system, including the following steps: receiving, assigning, processing, approving and returning results, as well as digital functions, synchronizing records, monitoring progress, etc.
The discussion and Q&A session took place enthusiastically with many practical situations presented to ensure that the participating staff can use the new system in the coming time. According to the plan, after this training session, 100% of the leaders and specialists of the units related to administrative procedures will be provided with full accounts and ready to officially use the new system starting from June 6, 2025.
