Attending the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang, representatives of several functional units of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , representatives of the British Embassy in Vietnam and Ms. Anantha Lakshmi, resident correspondent and Chief Representative of the Financial Times Resident Office in Vietnam.
Appreciating the previous contributions of the Financial Times in bringing Vietnam to the UK and the world , Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang believes that with the professionalism and prestige of the newspaper and the coordination between the newspaper and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as ministries and branches, the Financial Times will continue to promote its role, contributing to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the UK, as well as bringing a positive image of Vietnam to the world.
Emphasizing that Vietnam is entering an era of growth with breakthrough steps and aspirations to reach new heights, the Deputy Minister hopes that the Financial Times will convey this message to the British people and readers around the world.
The agencies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are ready to support the Financial Times and together with the British Embassy in Vietnam, contribute to strengthening the Vietnam - UK Strategic Partnership.

The Financial Times was present in Vietnam for several periods from 1995-2000 and 2010-2022. With the reopening of the Financial Times office in Vietnam, there are now 30 offices of foreign press agencies residing in Vietnam. |
