Re-appointment of 2 Deputy General Directors of Voice of Vietnam

Mr. Vu Hai Quang - Deputy General Director of VOV

Specifically, in Decision No. 219/QD-TTg dated January 22, 2025, the Prime Minister decided to re-appoint Mr. Vu Hai Quang to hold the position of Deputy General Director of Voice of Vietnam (VOV).

Mr. Vu Hai Quang was born on March 12, 1966, in Quyet Tien commune, Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh province; graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, majoring in Electronics and Telecommunications. He has a master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, a master's degree in journalism, and a bachelor's degree in economics.

Mr. Vu Hai Quang worked at the General Department of Security - Ministry of Public Security (1992-1998); Deputy General Director of Emico Corporation - VTV (1998-2014); Director of the Radio and Television Technical Center - VTV (since 2014). On January 11, 2020, he was appointed as Deputy General Director of VOV.

Mr. Pham Manh Hung - Deputy General Director of VOV

In Decision No. 216/QD-TTg dated January 22, 2025, the Prime Minister decided to re-appoint Mr. Pham Manh Hung to hold the position of Deputy General Director of VOV.

Mr. Pham Manh Hung was born on October 28, 1974, in My Huong commune, Luong Tai district, Bac Ninh province. Mr. Pham Manh Hung graduated from Hanoi Law University, majoring in Economic Law, was recruited to work at VOV in 1996 and has worked continuously in the field of journalism at VOV for 24 years.

Before being appointed as Deputy General Director of VOV, Mr. Pham Manh Hung worked as Deputy Director of VOV's Central Highlands Resident Agency (2007-2009); Deputy Director of VOV1 General Political News System, now VOV1 News Department (2009-2011) and Editor-in-Chief of VOV Online Newspaper (since 2012). On January 11, 2020, he was appointed as Deputy General Director of VOV./.
