Accordingly, comrade Nguyen Minh Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council announced the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council deciding to establish and reorganize specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee.

Specifically: Decision to establish and reorganize specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Vinh Long province, as follows: Department of Finance on the basis of merging the Department of Finance and the Department of Planning and Investment; Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Construction and the Department of Transport; Department of Science and Technology on the basis of merging the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Information and Communications; Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions on the basis of the Ethnic Minorities Committee and receiving the state management function of beliefs and religions from the Department of Home Affairs. At the same time, maintain and reorganize specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee as follows: Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Departmentof Education and Training; Department of Justice; Department of Health; Department of Industry and Trade; Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Provincial Inspectorate.

Comrade Tran Van Hen - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs announced the decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the appointment of Directors of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, including: Appointing Mr. Vo Quoc Thanh as Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, for a term of 5 years. Appointing Ms. Doan Hong Hanh as Director of the Department of Science and Technology, for a term of 5 years. Appointing Mr. Pham Minh Thien as Director of the Department of Finance, for a term of 5 years. Appointing Mr. Thach Duong as Acting Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, for a term of 5 years. Appointing Mr. Nguyen Quoc Duy as Director of the Department of Construction, for a term of 5 years.
