Specifically, a Facebook account shared a picture of a tombstone bearing the name of martyr Bui Van Kha, from An Nhon Tay commune, Cu Chi district (HCMC), along with information that this person died on February 28, 1966, when he was only 6 years old.
The post shared: "6-year-old Uncle Kha died while digging the Cu Chi tunnels with his parents, then crawled down to avoid the raid, and his whole family was lost!"

Speaking with VietNamNet, the leader of the Department of Meritorious People ( Ministry of Home Affairs ) - the unit that manages the records of meritorious people, confirmed that there was no martyr named Bui Van Kha, who died in 1966, at the age of 6, as spread on social networks.
According to official data managed by Ho Chi Minh City, there is only one martyr named Bui Van Kha, born in 1948, died in 1968, at the age of 20. Martyr Bui Van Kha is from An Nhon Tay commune, Cu Chi district, and is being buried at the Cu Chi district martyr cemetery. Thus, the information on the tombstone posted on social networks and official data are incorrect.
