Regarding the progress of the general inventory of public assets at agencies, organizations, units, and infrastructure assets invested and managed by the State, the Ministry of Finance said that as of 8:00 a.m. on March 28, there were still ministries, central agencies, and localities that had not completed the registration of inventory subjects, behind the deadline required by the Ministry of Finance (February 20, 2025 at the latest).

They are the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (merged with the Ministry of Home Affairs and transferred tasks to the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Public Security ) with 6 units, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (45 units), the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (Thoi Dai Magazine) and Khanh Hoa province (Van Thang Commune People's Committee).

Therefore, the Ministry of Finance requests ministries, central agencies, and provincial People's Committees to criticize and handle the responsibilities of collectives and individuals who are slow in registering inventory objects.

In addition, currently, some ministries, central and local agencies have registered inventory objects that may not be accurate. Specifically, 1 unit (Labor Safety Training Center under the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, now the Ministry of Home Affairs ) registered inventory objects of national railway infrastructure assets, urban railways, and inland waterway infrastructure.

Two units (Co To District Public Service Management Board, Quang Ninh Province, Thanh Hoa Province Department of Information and Communications Office) registered to inventory infrastructure assets of the concentrated Information Technology Park.

Therefore, the central and local ministries and agencies must review and adjust the inventory objects in case the subordinate unit registers incorrectly, ensure the accuracy of the inventory objects, and promptly urge the unit to send a report in case the subordinate unit registers the correct inventory objects.

Basically, ministries, central and local agencies have completed and are about to complete reporting on inventory results on the software. However, there are still some ministries, central and local agencies with slow and very slow progress, at risk of not completing the inventory.

Ministries, central and local agencies with slow progress in submitting inventory reports include the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Information and Communications (merged with the Ministry of Science and Technology), the Ministry of Culture - Sports - Tourism, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Transport (merged with the Ministry of Construction), the Government Inspectorate, the Vietnam Cinema Association, the Office of the National Assembly, the National University of Ho Chi Minh City; the Vietnam Farmers' Association, the State Audit, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Voice of Vietnam, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations; the provinces of Dien Bien, Long An, Nam Dinh, Bac Giang, Binh Phuoc, and Ha Nam.

According to the Project on General Inventory of Public Assets at Agencies, Organizations, Units and Infrastructure Assets Invested and Managed by the State, the general inventory will be completed before March 31, 2025.
