Bo Trach: One person died from drowning

The deceased victim was Mr. PMĐ. (born in 1954), in Nhan Hai village, Nhan Trach commune. Mr. Đ is a fisherman in the commune and has a fishing boat anchored about 200m from the coast of Nhan Trach commune. According to initial information, at about 8:00 a.m. on April 25, 2025, Mr. Đ used a plastic can to swim from the boat to shore.

 

However, according to initial assessment, Mr. D may have suffered a stroke or was exhausted and was swept away by the water to a nearby sea area. At around 9:00 a.m. the same day, local people discovered him and tried to rescue him, however, Mr. D did not survive.

 

Currently, the family is completing procedures to organize his funeral according to local customs.
