Coast Guard Region 2 Command visited and gave gifts to people affected by storms in Binh Hiep commune.

(GLO)- On November 13, a working delegation led by Major General Tran Quang Tuan - Commander of Coast Guard Region 2 and Colonel Le Huy - Political Commissar visited and presented gifts to support families affected by storm No. 13 in Binh Hiep commune, Gia Lai province.

Accompanying the delegation was Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Thi Bich Ly.

Storm No. 13 caused a lot of damage in Binh Hiep commune. In the whole commune, 6 houses were completely collapsed, nearly 1,000 houses had their roofs blown off, nearly 1,000 hectares of planted forests were broken... Total damage caused by Storm No. 13 is estimated at about 100 billion VND.

The working group kindly visited and shared the losses with local people due to the damage caused by storm No. 13. On this occasion, the working group presented 48 gifts (more than 1 million VND/gift) to families that suffered heavy losses.

In addition, the delegation also visited and gave gifts to two families that suffered heavy damage due to the storm, including: Mrs. Ho Thi Quyen (Thuan Nhut village) and Mr. Mac Tam Dung (An Hoi village).
