Ministry of Health proposes recall of 12 types of fake milk powder

Investigators seized thousands of boxes of fake milk.

Specifically, the list of 12 types of fake milk powder includes:

Previously, the Food Safety Department received a dispatch from the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency, requesting coordination in the fight against crime and detection of illegal acts, including identifying 12 food and nutritional products (in the form of powdered milk) as counterfeit goods.

Immediately afterwards, the Food Safety Department requested the Department of Health of provinces and centrally-run cities; the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City; the Food Safety Management Board of Da Nang City; the Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Departments of provinces and cities to review, inspect and coordinate with local competent authorities to recall all 12 types of fake powdered milk as above, currently on the market; coordinate with the Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security to handle and resolve according to the provisions of law.

At the same time, it is recommended that people should not use 72 milk products of Rance Pharma International Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Hacofood Nutrition Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, which are being further investigated until the final conclusion of the Police Agency.
