Official opening of bus route from Can Tho Airport to Soc Trang

As planned, on April 26, the Urban Traffic Management and Operation Center, Can Tho Department of Construction will officially put into operation the adjacent bus route from Can Tho International Airport to Dai Ngai town, Long Phu district, Soc Trang province.

On April 26, the adjacent bus route from Can Tho International Airport to Dai Ngai town, Soc Trang will be officially put into operation.

Recently, the Department of Construction of Can Tho has just issued a decision to announce the opening of a public passenger transport route by adjacent buses in Can Tho City in the form of no subsidy.

Accordingly, the newly announced route has the code CT-14, from Can Tho International Airport - Dai Ngai Town (Long Phu District, Soc Trang Province). The route will officially be put into operation on April 26, 2025. The route operator is Phuong Trang Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company - FUTA Bus Lines.

The route from Can Tho International Airport to Dai Ngai Town is 73km long. Itinerary: Can Tho International Airport - Vo Van Kiet - Mau Than - Tran Hung Dao - Hung Vuong - Tran Phu - Le Loi - Song Hau Park - Ninh Kieu Bridge - Ngo Gia Tu - Hai Ba Trung - Nguyen An Ninh - 30/4 Street - Quang Trung Bridge - National Highway 1A - Can Tho City Central Bus Station - National Highway 1A - Vo Nguyen Giap - Cai Cui - Mai Dam Town (Chau Thanh District, Hau Giang Province) - Nam Song Hau National Highway (An Lac Thon Town - An Lac Tay Commune - Nhon My Commune - Ke Sach District, Soc Trang Province - Song Phung Commune, Dai Ngai Town - Long Phu District, Soc Trang Province) - Roundabout - (National Highway 60 - Nam Song Hau National Highway) - National Highway 60 - Dai Ngai Bus Station and vice versa.

According to many passengers, Can Tho City has many inter-provincial bus routes, helping people travel conveniently and save on travel costs.

The bus route starts at 5:20 am and ends at 5:30 pm every day. There are 60 trips per day; the frequency between two consecutive trips is about 25 minutes/trip.

According to the operator of the CT-14 adjacent bus route, the unit uses GAZ vehicles manufactured in Russia in 2023. The vehicles are new, have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, support for the disabled, and meet Euro emission standards. The vehicles have 18 seats and 8 standing places.

Currently, the fare for the entire route is 60,000 VND/passenger (HK); if the passenger travels from 0km to under 20km, it is 15,000 VND/HK; from 20km to under 40km, it is 25,000 VND/HK; from 40km to under 60km, it is 45,000 VND/HK; from 60km to the entire route, it is 60,000 VND/HK.

Currently, Can Tho City People's Committee and the CT-14 bus operator have supported ticket prices for meritorious people, the elderly, and the disabled. Specifically, the group of passengers in this group traveling from 0km to under 20km is 11,000 VND/passenger, from 20km to under 40km is 18,000 VND/passenger; from 40km to under 60km is 30,000 VND/passenger; from 60km to the entire route is 42,000 VND/passenger.

For students, it only costs 7,000 VND to travel the entire route.
