Continue writing desire
from the great spring victory

April30 , 1975 - a brilliant milestone in the history of the nation, not only the day the country was unified, the war ended, opening an era of independence, but also the beginning of a journey of continuous construction and development.

The great victory of that spring opened a new page in history, where the Vietnamese people, from a country devastated by war, rose to become the fastest growing economy in the region; an active and responsible member of the international community; a typical model of development and innovation. And after half a century, our country today continues to embark on a new journey: a journey of strong growth in the digital age, the age of artificial intelligence, of innovation, of deep integration and the aspiration for power.

We enter the digital age not only with technology, but also with strategic vision, innovative thinking, political determination of the Party and State, and above all, with the strong aspiration of the entire nation. The lessons of the past remain valid: independence does not come naturally; no victory comes from luck. Every step of the country's transformation requires the spirit of uprising, the will to be self-reliant, and the solidarity of the entire political system and the people.

The digital age is a revolution that cannot wait. The urgent need for digital transformation in all areas, from economics, culture,education , health, to public administration and national governance, is posing a new “historical imperative” for the country. That is to leave no one behind. That is to popularize digital knowledge as we popularized the national language during the “popular education” period. That is to build a fair, inclusive, humane digital society that is highly adaptable to the changes of the world.

From factory workers, farmers in the fields, to officials in the government apparatus - all are direct subjects of digital transformation. The Vietnamese workforce, with its diligence, creativity and willingness to learn, is the key to opening the door to the future. International Labor Day on May 1 is therefore not only an occasion to honor workers but also a reminder: development must go hand in hand with improving the quality of human resources, ensuring social security, and awakening the potential of Vietnamese people in the new era.

In the context of a rapidly changing world with leaps and bounds in artificial intelligence, big data and digital technology, Vietnam needs to be more steadfast than ever on the path it has chosen. The major orientations from the 13th National Party Congress and the instructions of General Secretary To Lam - such as the spirit of "having a strong organization and strong people; each agency and unit operating like a precise, responsible and disciplined machine" - are the guiding principles for the country to develop sustainably, confidently integrate and master the future.

However, the road ahead is not paved with roses. We will face global technological competition, geopolitical fluctuations, pressure for innovation, and the need for sustainable development. However, the glorious memories of the liberation day will be a spiritual support, adding strength to today's aspirations: the aspiration to turn Vietnam into a high-income developed country by 2045, when the country completes a century of independence; the aspiration to build a strong Vietnam, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world's powers - with patriotism, intelligence, technology, and a spirit of constant innovation.

The Fatherland is reaching out to the ocean with the strength of unity, knowledge and technology. This is the new journey of a nation that has won and is now boldly conquering the future.
