Boeing launches many aircraft lines for defense aviation

New aircraft and helicopters are all improved to meet customer needs. Typically, the Wave Gilder is a ship operating at sea, able to collect weather information, information under the sea surface, and ship traffic in a certain maritime area.

The Chinook Block aircraft line is designed to be suitable for humanitarian missions, aid, rescue and relief operations in areas prone to natural disasters such as storms, floods, earthquakes, etc.

Boeing's Integrator drone line can perform intelligence and surveillance missions.

"We want to invest in Vietnam, seek domestic partners and hope to accompany Vietnam's defense industry in modernizing military equipment," Mr. McDowall shared.

Mr. Michael Nguyen, Director of Boeing Vietnam, informed that in nearly 30 years of operation in Vietnam, Boeing has accompanied Vietnam's aviation industry, including civil aviation and defense aviation.

Airlines in Vietnam that are cooperating with Boeing include Vietnam Airlines , Vietjet, Bamboo Airways and Vietravel Airlines.

In 2025, Mr. Michael Nguyen affirmed that Boeing and American businesses expect to have opportunities to cooperate with Vietnam, supporting economic development in civil and defense fields.

Regarding sustainable development, according to Mr. Michael Nguyen, Vietnam is determined to move towards Net zero by 2050. This is also the goal of the world aviation industry. As an aircraft manufacturer, Boeing focuses on supporting green transformation such as improving and producing new aircraft lines that consume less fuel, as well as supporting customers' existing aircraft to operate, maximize and consume less fuel.

The Director of Boeing Vietnam added that Boeing has participated in research on sustainable aviation fuel SAF in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam.
