Training digital knowledge and skills for civil servants and public employees in the East of Dak Lak province

On the morning of October 7, 2025, at Binh Kien ward, the Department of Science and Technology coordinated with relevant units to organize a training course on "Digital knowledge and skills training" for civil servants and public employees of 34 communes and wards in the eastern part of Dak Lak province.

Overview of the training class

This is the first class of the digital knowledge and skills training course, one of the key activities of the Digital Transformation Training Program in 2025, according to Decision No. 0801/QD-UBND dated August 4, 2025 of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province.

Students attending the training course

This training course took place over 2 days, from October 7-8, 2025, attracting more than 100 participants. The main content aimed to improve digital transformation capacity in developing digital government; guide the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in professional work and operations, use of document management and administration software (iDesk) to serve the 2-level local government model, and guide on handling common errors. The main speaker of the class was Dr. Bui Van Cong from the Institute of Information Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi .

Through the training course, students are not only equipped with in-depth knowledge but also participate in practice and enthusiastically discuss many real-life situations, contributing to improving the effectiveness of handling and making decisions in public service activities.

According to the plan, the next training courses for civil servants and public employees of 68 communes and wards in the western part of Dak Lak (former Dak Lak province) will take place in Buon Ma Thuot ward. Specifically, the 2nd course: From October 9 to October 10, 2025; the 3rd course: From October 14 to October 15, 2025 and the 4th course: From October 16 to October 17, 2025
