Two draws against Binh Duong (1-1) and defending champion Nam Dinh (0-0) have helped Da Nang Club narrow the gap with the second-to-last team Quy Nhon Binh Dinh Club to 5 points, with 7 more rounds to go.

The turning point of the Han River team will take place from round 20 to round 22 of V-League 2024-2025. In round 20, Da Nang Club will host Thanh Hoa Club on April 27 at Tam Ky Stadium, while Binh Dinh will not play.

VPF has postponed the 20th round match of Binh Dinh FC, after their opponent Cong An Ha Noi asked to change the date. The make-up match of round 20 has been postponed to June 3. Binh Dinh players will rest for 2 weeks from April 19 to May 3.

If they can take advantage of this turning point, Da Nang FC can avoid direct relegation. The opportunity opens up if they have to play a relegation play-off with the runner-up of the 2024-2025 First Division. At that time, the possibility of relegation is higher.
