(Dan Tri) - Ca Mau has plans to build, renovate, repair, and supplement facilities and equipment for many high schools with hundreds of billions of VND in capital, to meet the current requirements of educational innovation.

On November 28, according to information from the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the province has just approved the investment policy for the project to build, renovate, repair and supplement facilities for 6 high schools, including: Nguyen Trung Truc High School, Tan Phong High School, Dien Hai High School, Dinh Thanh High School, Le Thi Rieng High School, Ninh Quoi High School.

According to the decision, in addition to renovating and repairing existing school facilities, the province will build new classrooms, functional rooms, green tree systems, lighting, etc. and purchase equipment for teaching and learning.

The total investment for these projects is more than 365 billion VND; implementation period is in the period 2026-2028.

For example, at Nguyen Trung Truc High School (Gia Rai ward), the province is implementing phase 2 construction with a capital of more than 65.6 billion VND, including renovating and repairing 3 existing buildings (classrooms, administrative - management rooms, learning support rooms), teachers' dormitory, gate and fence,...

The province built a new 3-storey classroom block (18 classrooms and some other rooms) for this school, a 3-storey functional room block, a multi-purpose gymnasium, a parking lot for teachers and students, an outdoor sports field, etc.

"The investment in the construction of Nguyen Trung Truc High School phase 2 ensures that after investing in facilities, the school meets the standards of level 2 regulations on educational quality assessment and recognition of national standards for middle schools, high schools and multi-level high schools," according to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.

By investing in these projects, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province aims to complete the facilities for schools to improve the quality and effectiveness of training, attract students in the area, and meet the human resource needs for the cause of economic and social development in the new development stage of the locality.
