Delegate Ha Si Dong (Quang Tri delegation) expressed his agreement with the Prime Minister's idea. He said that the movement "the whole country competes to get rich" will be the first move to implement resolutions on private economic development, contributing to the country's sustainable development in the new era. The richer the people and businesses are, the more developed the country will be, and each member with a good income will contribute to the total national income.
However, Mr. Dong emphasized that in order for the movement launched by the Prime Minister to be most effective, the exemplary role of leaders - from civil servants to business leaders - is more essential than ever. They must take the lead, become shining examples of legitimate efforts to enrich themselves and motivate subordinates to follow.
Leaders must take the lead in legitimate enrichment and consider it their responsibility.

Their determination to get rich will create resources to develop businesses, which can then enrich the country.
“With the above meanings, leaders must take the lead in legitimate enrichment and consider this their responsibility,” Mr. Dong emphasized.
According to Mr. Dong, getting rich legitimately today is no longer a matter of each individual but is related to the sustainable development of the country. Therefore, when a leader or party member dares to take the lead in the journey to get rich - not based on privileges but by renewing thinking, applying science and technology and making the most of market opportunities - then they are exercising their rights, responsibilities and obligations to the country. That is a valuable and sustainable contribution.
Expressing his views on this story from the perspective of a local leader, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Uy, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Duy Tien town (Ha Nam province) said that there is no leader who does not want the locality, organization or enterprise under his/her charge to develop and become stronger. However, the Prime Minister's call will urge them even more and he himself considered it a goal that must be thoroughly implemented.

“Previously, before the Prime Minister launched the movement to get rich, the leaders of Duy Tien town had already implemented all tasks and plans to create the most favorable conditions to attract capital to Dong Van 1-2-3 industrial parks and Hoa Mac industrial park.
Currently, our 4 industrial parks are developing strongly, attracting more than 50,000 workers, many of whom are from other provinces and cities.
Up to now, with the openness of Resolution 68 and the Prime Minister's call, along with opportunities and motivation, we also realize the great responsibility of setting an example to encourage people and businesses to participate in enriching their locality.
To fulfill this role, in response to the Prime Minister's call, we plan to discuss and agree on stronger policies to attract more capital and businesses to the locality.
Along with that, in order for economic sectors, especially the private economy, to develop, we will also provide all the best conditions for businesses, creating clean land funds to hand over to businesses to build factories in the most convenient way," said Mr. Uy.
From the perspective of a businessman, Mr. Nguyen Van Kiem, General Director of Bao Minh Industrial Park Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (Nam Dinh) said that as the head of a real estate company, he always thinks about getting rich for the development of the company.
“But since I learned that the Prime Minister launched a movement to get rich for all people, I have determined that this must be considered a responsibility, not just “doing it if you want to”. In addition, there is also the responsibility of leading the staff and workers to follow suit, thereby motivating subordinates to participate and foster the desire to get rich,” he said.
Mr. Kiem said that his personal goal of getting rich is the desire to expand and develop his business, contributing to creating more jobs for workers and contributing to the local and national budgets.
“I realized that I had to be the one to pass on the flame of enthusiasm to my subordinates. When the head of a business strives to get rich, he can lead and orient his staff to follow,” Mr. Kiem shared.

If leaders do not know how to get rich, businesses will stagnate.
Expressing his opinion on the fact that leaders choose to avoid the legitimate path of getting rich, Mr. Dong said that this means confining themselves to a mindset of complacency, conservatism, and stagnation; this is no different from going against the spirit of reform and innovation that the Party is eager to cultivate for the country.
“Getting rich through integrity and transparency is not only a personal goal, but also a profound demonstration of responsibility towards the nation, a testament to the spirit of dedication for the common good of the country. That is the most genuine, ethical and meaningful way to get rich,” Mr. Dong emphasized.
On a larger scale, the economy will face the risk of losing growth momentum if organizational leaders do not take the initiative in enriching themselves and do not create pioneering business models to promote innovation.
This not only leads to backwardness but also creates a paradox: society calls on all people to compete to get rich, but does not see the presence of pioneering leadership models, those who lead with their own dedication and vision. That weakens the trust and consensus in the country's common development journey.
If a business leader does not know how to get rich legitimately, subordinates cannot rely on him, and therefore the bond cannot be sustainable.
National Assembly Delegate Tran Van Lam
From a business perspective, if the leader does not have a mindset of getting rich or takes steps because of fear of risk, fear of mistakes, or has a mentality of avoiding responsibility, the business's development path will soon be difficult, I do not want to say it will reach a dead end.
“That is the premise for stagnation, lack of creativity and stifled spirit of commitment, ultimately losing valuable opportunities in the competitive race,” said Mr. Dong.
Meanwhile, according to delegate Tran Van Lam (Bac Giang delegation), if a business leader does not know how to get rich legitimately, subordinates will not be able to rely on him, and therefore the bond will not be sustainable.
Mr. Dang Phuc Nguyen - former leader of Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Corporation - emphasized: "People often say that when the people are rich, the country is strong, then rich businesses will make the economy strong. When business owners are rich, they will pull the whole group rich. On the contrary, businesses cannot develop if business leaders do not have the mindset and desire to get rich."
