It cannot be said that MONO does not have ballad strengths. We need to give you more time to prove your ability and win over the audience.
I feel that MONO is building an image of a versatile artist. This is very good for someone with talent and ambition like him. Right from the first practice sessions, I saw that MONO was completely on the right track.
- What does the "push and pull" between the two people imply?
We are clean, nothing, we are brothers and all! (laughs loudly)
When I was MONO's age, I wasn't as good as you. Anyone can say the same words and greetings, but not everyone can make them feel as real as you do.

While discussing the program with Mr. Ho Hoai Anh and Ms. Ho Ngoc Ha, with the perspective of the "old people" group, we intended to make a profound, soulful ballad. Thanks to a flash of an idea, we decided to make something younger and more passionate.
I really like Quang Hung MasterD's music but I have to respect his intelligence. When I asked for permission, Hung agreed immediately, that was lucky. We only used those songs within the scope of this concert to serve the audience.
In the future, if I can "seduce" Hung, then we'll consider it further. But Hung still has to compose songs for himself to sing, this shouldn't be forced, just leave it to fate.
- Why is your best friend - singer Dong Nhi absent?
When I did the showcase, Nhi invited me but I was busy preparing for the concert so I couldn't attend.
Dong Nhi, Hoang Thuy Linh and members of "Cultural Family" (the name of his famous group of close friends - PV) all sent congratulatory messages. They were busy with their own schedules so they couldn't come.

- What is the plan to release the new song "The Calm One, The Heavy-Hearted One"?
Currently, I often struggle with releasing new songs for a long time because everything is not on schedule like before. Releasing MVs or any other media formula does not guarantee that the song can reach the audience.
So, consider The Calm One, The Heavy One as my gift to the audience at the concert. When the song creates an effect, my team and I will continue to consider it, there is no rush. Sometimes, investing too much and taking care is not as good as letting the song spread naturally.
- Your best friends have all released albums, what about you? Not to mention that nowadays, concept albums are almost mandatory. How does this challenge you?
I once planned to make an EP (extended play - PV) with the opening track " I'm kidding you, it hurts" but after careful consideration, I felt unsatisfied so I had to postpone it.
Regarding the album concept, that has been my problem for many years. Young people today are very talented. They compose and perform their own works, conveying their stories and personalities very well.
For a long-time artist like me to change and adapt to the new flow, somewhere out there will be musicians and producers who can help me do it.
However, our focus is on balancing our strengths and staying up to date with the latest.
In this profession, from MV, album, concert... I have done everything for the past 16 years. Now, my job is to make music , art; "drift" according to what my heart and ego want to follow, not trying to reach higher, putting too much pressure and standards on myself.
We must accept that the market is always developing, and the next generation is constantly striving to improve. So our generation must put down deep roots, not follow but accept and balance the new.
Besides the singer, I am also an audience enjoying the beautiful things, the sumptuous "meals" that the young generation is making.
When eating a delicious dish, I don't try to cook it exactly the same, instead I recreate it in my own way to have a dish that is both delicious and has the Noo Phuoc Thinh mark.
- There are also many people in your generation who set new goals to conquer!
The answer is: I will not cross any peaks again! The audience is still waiting for my changes and transformations, but that will only come when I do everything voluntarily, without pressure.
I always make music with my own prejudice, never set out to climb mountains because I will never climb them. And when I stand on my mountain, I can't see any mountains anymore.
- Will there be "Noo's Chill Night The Concert" day 2?
Concerts nowadays tend to be held a second or third time. However, I want to ask the audience: If you had to eat sumptuous feasts continuously, would you still want to come?
As an artist, I believe that moderation is the best. If there is a second day, the concert must be on a larger scale and much more special.
