A four-story house in Van Phu Urban Area (Ha Dong District) suddenly caught fire after a loud explosion. According to witnesses, some people in the house ran outside.

According to initial information, the house at No. 8 TT35 - Van Phu Urban Area (Phu La Ward, Ha Dong District) suddenly caught fire after a loud explosion.

Witnesses at the scene said that at around 5pm this afternoon, there was a loud explosion on the 4th floor of the house that was on fire. "The loud explosion startled the whole area and made them run away," the witness said.

According to witnesses, some people in the burning house ran outside. "This house is rented, the people living in the house are very quiet and often close the door, we don't know what they do inside but we saw gas cylinders being transported in and out," said a witness at the scene.

4 fire trucks of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force arrived at the scene.

Upon receiving the news, 4 fire trucks of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Ha Dong Area Team arrived at the scene. Currently, the rescue team is continuing to put out the fire.

The head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police said there was 1 casualty.
