Returning Steps is a series of events responding to the 2025 Environmental Action Month, scheduled to take place on June 21 and 22 in Hung Yen . With the theme "Returning to the roots - Returning to nature - Returning to the Self", the program calls on the domestic and foreign communities to join hands to protect the environment, plant trees and afforest, promote national cultural values and move towards sustainable development.
The highlight of the program is the art night "Steps to Return" which will take place on the evening of June 21 at Swan Lake Park, gathering many artists loved by the public such as: Hoa Minzy, Duong Truong Giang, Minh Quan, Thu Thuy, Tuan Cry, Minh Chuyen...
The program was directed by Viet Dang, combining music, visual theater and traditional cultural materials. Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Nguyen Phu Binh - Chairman of the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs - emphasized: "Climate change is a major threat to humanity.
Vietnam is not out of the influence, as last year we had to suffer many serious consequences from natural disasters, especially super typhoon Yagi. Therefore, environmental protection is no longer a story of an individual, but a common mission of the whole nation."
Through this program, the Organizing Committee also hopes to raise funds for long-term afforestation activities - not just planting trees today, but sowing hope for the future.
After the program in Hung Yen, the project will continue to expand into a series of long-term activities such as forest planting campaigns in many localities, projects connecting overseas Vietnamese, cultural education initiatives for the younger generation and support for green economic development in regions.
