Mai Dieu Ly (born 1991, Hung Yen ) once impressed with her luxurious, seductive but also very youthful image. She became known to many people after participating in the Sao Mai 2015 contest.
In 2018, the female singer's album Hanoi My Dream was well received thanks to the sincerity and gentleness in each song.
In 2022, she continued to leave her mark with the album Phu Quang's Love Songs - Winter Memories. She renewed familiar songs with youthful, profound yet still very delicate emotions.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter at the album launch event Wind through autumn memories in Hanoi, Mai Dieu Ly confided many profound thoughts about her musical journey, life and the lull to find herself again.
After 2 years of absence, the female singer from Hung Yen suddenly returned to the music industry, and more specifically, she revealed that she had bought a small, pretty house with her perseverance in singing.
“I have released short films, albums, MVs… People ask if I get sponsorship? The answer is “no”. I love my job and am passionate about it, so I am lucky to have many shows. Now I have bought a small, beautiful house for myself, can work hard for music and happily realize that my greatest asset is music,” Dieu Ly expressed.
Since the Sao Mai contest, Mai Dieu Ly has not pursued instant fame. She does not appear frequently in the media, nor does she use tricks to attract attention.

Sharing at the program, the female singer expressed: "I don't aim to make a difference or attract attention, I just want to sing with my true feelings" (Photo: Organizers).
In addition to music, Mai Dieu Ly also has a great love for painting. She studied at two universities, one for music and one for fine arts. After graduating, she was retained as an art lecturer, but in the end, she still chose music as her path. For her, images and sounds always go together and cannot be separated.
“When I sing, it’s like I’m painting. There are songs that make me see before my eyes patches of color, layers of paintings overlapping each other,” Dieu Ly shared.
That is why her approach to music is very “colorful”. She does not follow popular tastes, but patiently finds her own path, even though it is a path that few people choose, and does not always have bright lights.
When talking about love, Dieu Ly also shared very gently: “I live by emotions, and when I love, I love with all my heart. But right now, I don’t have anyone. I choose to live alone, choose freedom to listen to myself more, to understand clearly what I want.”
For the singer, freedom is not about avoiding responsibility or rejecting love, but about having the courage to be true to yourself, something that not everyone can do. For Dieu Ly, the ideal person is someone who is sincere, delicate, caring, gentle and profound.

Some people call Mai Dieu Ly “reckless” when she puts jazz - a genre of music that is not for everyone - into Trinh Cong Son’s songs. But for her, it is not an experiment to impress, nor is it a trick to renew Trinh’s music.
“It is a journey back to myself, to the deep passions that were once forgotten, to the corners of my soul that I once hid for fear of being out of date,” she said.
With the album Wind Through Autumn Memories , Mai Dieu Ly said that this is a product she has cherished for the past 2 years. Not aiming to "renew" or create a special impression, she just wants to sing with her true emotions, to live truly in the music.
The album includes 10 songs and one additional song, most of which are famous compositions by musician Trinh Cong Son such as: Afternoon alone through the street, Sea of memories, Old love, Old forest has closed, Like a flying stork, Then like a naive stone.
In addition, there are also emotional lyrical songs such as: Autumn is dry (Giang Son - poem by Pham Thien Thu), Grass and rain (Giang Son - poem by Nguyen Trong Tao), Dry sea (Kim Tuan) and 2 versions of Happy monsoon (Phong Vu).
