"Blowing the whistle" on Cao Viet Hoang's product being advertised as a cure for stomach ailments.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - On June 17th, the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) announced that it had discovered that the health supplement product Cao Viet Hang violated advertising regulations by advertising itself as a medicine.

According to the Food Safety Administration, recently, on some websites, the health supplement product Cao Viet Hoang has been advertised misleadingly as a medicine, violating the law on food advertising.

Specifically, the product advertisement published, cited, quoted, or presented opinions from patients describing the food as having a therapeutic effect.

In addition, advertising that does not comply with one of the prescribed documents; advertising of food and food additives lacking one of the following contents: warnings about risks, warnings about who should not use them, as prescribed in one of the documents for functional foods.

The Cao Viet Hoang health supplement product is manufactured and distributed by Cao Viet Hoang Research and Development Co., Ltd. (headquarters address: House 6NV3, Lideco Urban Area, Tram Troi Town, Hoai Duc District, Hanoi ).

The Food Safety Administration stated that it is coordinating with relevant authorities to verify and handle the matter according to current regulations and will publicly post the results of the handling on the Administration's website at: https://vfa.gov.vn.

While the authorities are investigating, the Food Safety Department advises consumers not to rely on the false advertising content on the aforementioned link when deciding to purchase and use products, as it may pose risks to their health and finances .

Cao Viet Hoang health supplement has been licensed by the Ministry of Health with the function of supporting the reduction of symptoms of belching and heartburn caused by gastritis and duodenal ulcers, supporting the reduction of gastric acid, and supporting the protection of the gastric mucosa.
